War Thunder Cheats: Vehicle ESP, Aimbot & Penetration

Ground Realistic hands you no name markers and no lead cross, so ranging and lead are both yours to guess. This WT build finishes the arithmetic before your gunner's sight settles.

Overview

Why Ground RB regulars keep the TopCheat War Thunder hack

Arcade Battles put a name over every enemy and hand rangefinder vehicles a coloured ballistic cross. Realistic and Simulator give you neither: no markers, range estimated by eye, lead estimated by feel. That gap is the whole reason these War Thunder cheats exist. Vehicle ESP, a live penetration read and lead prediction share one overlay, so the answer is on screen before the barrel has stopped moving.

Most people who end up here lost patience with the tech tree rather than with their aim. Research Points arrive slowly, repair costs come straight out of what a battle pays, and Battle Rating matchmaking keeps swinging a full 1.0 and dropping a 1950s hull into a lobby of stabilised APFSDS. We do not touch the economy at all. We just cut down how often you feed a kill, and that alone changes your Silver Lion balance by the end of the night.

Gaijin does not slow down either. A dev blog on 25 August announced a reshuffle of the German, Soviet, British, Chinese, Italian and Israeli ground research trees, and Sky Odyssey then landed on 16 September on the 2.59 branch with two hotfixes inside forty-eight hours. We retest and repack after every client change and post the same day whether the build is working, updating or paused. Minor updates are usually handled within hours, major versions in one to three days.

Feature set

War Thunder hack features for Ground, Air and Naval Battles

  • Vehicle ESP: the hull behind the ridge

Ground RB deliberately removes the markers; this puts boxes and ranges back.

    Vehicle ESP
Enemy tanks, SPAA and close air support are coloured apart with a live range attached, so the blank space where Ground RB refuses to print a name finally holds something.
    Internal Module View
Ammo racks, engine, transmission and the gunner's position drawn live — the same picture the hangar protection analysis and the kill camera only ever show you afterwards.
    Crew State
How many crew are still alive and whether the commander has already taken over the gunner's seat, which decides whether a second shell finishes it or is wasted.
    Fire & Repair Alerts
Who is putting out a fire and who is halfway through a field repair. A tank that cannot move is always worth killing before the healthy one parked next to it.
  • Penetration and ballistics: will this shell go through?

Angle, range and plate thickness settled before you touch the trigger.

    Penetration Readout
Works out whether the plate under your sight falls to the shell you have loaded at this range and this angle, and marks the point where the hit turns into a ricochet — including the Arjun Mk 1 and the Harimau that Sky Odyssey has only just added.
    Shell Drop & Flight Time
Drop and travel time drawn in advance, so an eight-hundred-metre shot stops being two ranging rounds and a hope that the third one connects.
    Weak Point Markers
Turret rings, the driver's port and side ammo stowage get their own colour, because those are the hits that end a vehicle instead of annoying it.
    Post-Penetration Spall
A read on which modules the fragments are likely to sweep, so you can tell a kill from a mobility hit before committing the next round.
  • Lead prediction and aimbot: the cross Realistic never gives you

Muzzle velocity, flight time and target speed folded into one aim point.

    Lead Prediction
Shell velocity, time of flight and target speed become a single point ahead of the barrel, whether that is a tank crossing a street or a strike aircraft running in low.
    Air Combat Lead
Cannon lead updates with the target's manoeuvre, so a turn fight stops being a guess about where he will be a second and a half from now.
    Naval Salvo Correction
Naval shells travel for whole seconds, so salvo lead and dispersion are given together and a bluewater duel no longer starts with three volleys spent on ranging.
    Adjustable Aimbot Strength
Draw the lead point and nothing else, or let the sight travel to it — the strength is yours to set. Every battle is stored server-side as a replay a person can review, which makes restraint worth more here than raw lock strength.
  • Radar minimap and battlefield awareness

A scout mark expires; this minimap does not.

    Radar Minimap
Enemy positions and hull facing stay on the minimap for the whole battle, turning the few seconds of advantage a light tank's scout gives the team into something permanent.
    CAS Warnings
Aircraft entering the map and the direction a dive is coming from are flagged early, which matters most at the Battle Ratings where the SPAA options are thin.
    RWR Support
In the air, lock warnings, missile type and rough range appear together, so countermeasures leave on the right second instead of all at once in a panic.
    Spawn & Cap Alerts
Which spawn the enemy came from and which route is already covered, so a rotation becomes a decision rather than a life spent finding out.
  • Built for a game that keeps every replay

Scoreboard reports, server-side behaviour analysis and timestamped replay review — more than one thing is watching.

    HWID Guard
Keeps this machine's hardware identifiers separated, so a problem on one PC does not follow the device fingerprint across to your other accounts. That is room to recover, not immunity.
    Locally Rendered Overlay
The overlay is drawn on your monitor and nowhere else, so captures, screen shares and a mirrored display show a clean gunner's sight — and the server-side replay stores battle data, not your screen. What gives anyone away is how they played.
    Patch-Day Rebuilds
Sky Odyssey pulled two hotfixes within two days; each one got its own retest and package, and the older build retires itself so nobody walks into BattlEye carrying a stale one.
    Openly Posted Build Status
Working, updating and paused go on the status page the day they change, and if a fault on our side stops you playing, the remaining time on your key is compensated or refunded.

How players run it

Three ways WT players run it

  1. Holding one lane in Ground Realistic

Darwin Hill, the Falklands ground map added in Sky Odyssey, has sight lines for days and Realistic prints no names on any of it. With the Greek air and ground sub-trees newly folded into Israel's tree, the hull coming at you may well be a Leopard 2HEL you have never fought. ESP tells you how many are sitting behind the ridge, the penetration readout tells you whether the front one falls to a turret-ring shot or needs a flank, and one player can hold an entire approach.

  2. Air Realistic and close air support

Climbing, managing energy and being locked all happen at once up there. RWR support lays out the missile's direction and rough range so flares leave on the right second, and when you roll down onto ground targets, vehicle ESP has already marked where the enemy SPAA parked.

  3. Surviving an uptier

Battle Rating matchmaking swings a full 1.0 either way, so a lobby a tier above your line is routine — and with the German, Soviet and British ground trees queued for a reshuffle, the climb is not getting shorter. Weak point markers point the lower vehicle at side ammo stowage, the penetration readout stops you spending shells on a glacis that was never going through, and the repair bill does not eat the battle's whole Silver Lion payout.

Safety & bans

Are War Thunder hacks safe? What BattlEye and Gaijin see

War Thunder runs kernel-level BattlEye, rolled out in waves from December 2024 in place of the Easy Anti-Cheat build that had been there since 2019. Gaijin also runs its own in-client check in user space, without admin rights, and a server-side layer on top of it: heuristic analysis of how each player behaves in a battle, scoreboard reports, and human review of timestamped replays. Detection here is not something that only happens on your own machine.

BattlEye really is toggleable in the launcher, but switching it off locks you out rather than protecting you: every markerless mode — Ground Realistic, Ground Simulator, Air Simulator — plus Air Arcade, Air Realistic and Ground Arcade from Battle Rating 4.7 upward become unavailable. Anyone playing Ground RB seriously is already playing with BattlEye on, so there is no risk-free configuration to hide in. What we control is keeping the overlay local to your machine, shipping an HWID guard and repacking after each client change. The rest is restraint: a replay where every shell finds an ammo rack through a ridge line reads as fake to the first person who watches it.

FAQ

War Thunder cheats FAQ

Can you get banned for using War Thunder cheats?

Yes. What sets War Thunder apart is that the decision does not have to be made during the battle: every match is kept as a server-side replay, and one press of the report button on the scoreboard is enough for a person to scrub through your game with timestamps — with kernel-level BattlEye and Gaijin's behavioural analysis running alongside. Our side of it is an HWID guard, an overlay that renders only on your own machine and a rebuild after every client change. None of that is a guarantee, and an aimbot strength you keep turned down will do more for you than any of it.

BattlEye can be switched off in the launcher — does that make it safer?

It costs far more than it saves. Turning it off locks you out of every markerless mode, meaning Ground Realistic, Ground Simulator and Air Simulator, and out of Air Arcade, Air Realistic and Ground Arcade from Battle Rating 4.7 upward. If you actually play Ground RB, BattlEye is already running and the toggle is not a real option.

Does ESP really matter in Ground RB with no markers?

The absence of markers is exactly why it matters. Arcade names every enemy and simplifies the damage; Realistic makes you find everything yourself. Vehicle ESP colours tanks, SPAA and aircraft apart and attaches a range, which puts the most expensive information in the game straight on your screen.

Is the penetration readout the same thing as the Arcade ballistic cross?

No. The coloured lead cross only appears in Arcade and only on vehicles fitted with a rangefinder. The penetration readout answers a different question: whether the shell you have loaded beats that plate at this range and this angle, and where the hit becomes a ricochet. Realistic gives you neither of those.

Does it work in Air RB and Naval Battles?

Both are covered. The air side gets cannon lead and RWR support; naval gets salvo lead and a dispersion read. Naval shells fly for whole seconds though, so the overlay only does the arithmetic — how the ship manoeuvres and when you commit the salvo is still on you.

I play from mainland China. Is that a problem?

No, just be aware there is no China server. The Tencent-operated version closed permanently on 17 October 2022, so everyone runs the international client. Steam still serves the title to the China region with Simplified and Traditional Chinese text, and players usually pick a data centre manually in the menu before battle and use an accelerator to keep latency steady.

How long is it down after an official update?

Minor updates are normally patched within hours, major versions take one to three days. Sky Odyssey was followed by two hotfixes within forty-eight hours, and each one meant a retest and a repack on our side. Progress goes on the status page, and Telegram support is online 24/7 if you would rather ask.

Is there a PS5, Xbox or War Thunder Mobile version?

No, this is PC only. Consoles play against PC through crossplay but cannot load any external software, War Thunder Mobile is a separate client that we do not cover, and VR headsets are outside what we support.
